I'll do it for free.
Make sure you have downloaded and installed nsvtools and shoutcast. I'd get the new updated version of nscscsrc as well Go to command prompt and navigate to nsvtools folder. Type "nsvenc /config". Set all the settings you want, play with these a little, but make sure that you use your final settings for ALL your videos. Now type "nsvenc <full input path> <full output path>.nsv". AVIs and MPGs encode well, Quicktime depends on the codecs and what not. Edit your headers file and get it to your liking. I attached an example of one. Put all the final .nsvs into the same folder. Start your shoutcast and get it all setup right (if you don't know how, look in other forum). Go to the nsvtools folder again and type "nsvscsrc /sc <ip>:<port>:<headers file> <folder path>". If you are running shoutcast and nsvscsrc on same pc, use 127.0.0.1 or localhost as your IP. An example of the syntax would be: nsvscsrc /sc 127.0.0.1:8000:header.txt C:\videos Go to shoutcast and make sure it connected to a source. All should be well. If any of these steps confuses you, ask about it and I can clarify. |
