Streaming Guide
I have seen a lot of posts with people asking for help, so here my personal quick overview of what i did.
Download the required software then Follow these instructions Using GUI mode is always best if your not confident. If you follow these peoples nice guides, you can't go wrong. I got my server working first try. www.nsvideo.tk is a great resource too. |

How to stream preencoded NSV files with GUI
This is very rough guide, Sankt please make more good instraction and add your website
for discussion of slavas' GUI please look here. Advantage by this method Very low CPU usage when send stream. Advantage to use slavas' GUI from official nsvscsrc. It's GUI. No sync problem with aac audio.for my experience almost NSV files encoded with AAC cause sync problem with official nsvscsrc. It can read m3u playlist. 1.Prepare NSV files.Make sure encode same codec and same setting. 2.Edit playlist by winamp, save as m3u playlist. 3.Run GUI and Edit headers 4.Open playlist set your ip port pass. 5.check "automatically add files..." if you want to loop playlist check "loop" and If you show filename on the winamp mainwindow as title check "Send file names as title" 6.Start stream. |
