You mean an online one? Perhaps once NSV leaves beta. There is one in the media library of winamp.

Sawg had a script that was a online directory of nsv stations. Not sure what ever became of that. I think it was in PHP. (Not sure though)
Was located here at one point www.public.asu.edu/~abarber2/streams.html Scenic Television is your ambient window to the world - - www.ScenicTelevision.com |

So how do the nsv channels in Winamp5's media library get listed? Is it open to anyone who has an nsv stream or regulated while its in beta?

The same way audio only SHOUTcast Streams are listed. The DNAS reports to SHOUTcast.com. SHOUTcast.com generates the XML that Winamp retrieves.
Just like radio. |

Hi everyone:
With the subtle changes being made to the Winamp.com site (albeiit a little buggy with black lettering on a dark dark brown background on the redirect pages), I'm sure that SHOUTcast 3.0 is just around the corner. Along with that will come, I believe, NSV 1.0 final version (as in no beta). Hopefully by then, they'll have MUCH better GUI interfaces than what's available now. ![]() Don't get me wrong though, the GUIs that are out there now are great (Heck, I wouldn't even be on the video airwaves if it weren't for Slavas and, later, Ken, whose GUI I now use BTW ) BUT there's ALWAYS room for improvement. ![]() Cheers for now & Happy Holidays Patrick Cook Proud Member - Electronic Frontier Foundation - http://www.eff.org/ Program Director Jeeper One Radio Network Jeeper One Television Network Denver, Colorado http://kpdcnetradio.***********/ http://kpdcnettv.***********/ BLOG PAGE - http://kpdcnettv.***********/blog.html |
