Talking Hello all..

Hello skinners and old friends.

Well geez it's been a while since i've been here, can't believe I even remembered my password.

Anyway I still get e-mails because of my past involvement with WA3. Here is the most recent. I thought I would post it and see if anyone had any ideas for this guy.

E-mail....
I know that sounds very weird but I'll explain. The new Toshiba e800 series PDA has true VGA resolution (sort of, it's 480x640 rather than the other way around) and because of this the built in windows media player ends up being only a quarter of the size of the screen since the normal resolution of a PocketPC is 240x320. However, there is a third party media player based on winamp that uses standard winamp skins. The thing is that due to the standard size of winamp, this program also only displays at 25% of the screen size and on a 4" screen, that's too small.
What I was hoping is that you could create a skin that would fit the 480x640 size format of the PDA. I have never skinned anything before and thought that someone with your skinning expertize could make a simple, basic, skin without too much trouble. At this point it doesn't have to be anything fancy, just functional to see if it will work. If I'm not mistaken, it would need to be exactly twice the size of the regular winamp skins.
Please let me know and thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

End E-mail..

What do you all think.

BBL..

Thanks for the info Hammer. I did reply to the guy and asked if he knew what version of WA it was he is using with this PDA and havn't gotten a response yet. Maybe when we get more info from him we can find a solution to his problem.

OMG it's Jonesy. Damn bro nice to see you. How's the gang doing man. Everyone still hanging at JonesTown? I'm thinking about trying some skinning again, but it's been so long since i've pushed the ole pixels that I'm not sure I can create anything.

Master hehe.. hey man.. didn't mean to make you break any of your rules. How ya been doing. Creating any skins lately?

If either of you guys see my ole bros from Skin Armory tell them I said Hi!!!

You should get back in the saddle PP and crank out some more skins, damd, I remember picking over one of yours to see how the XML fitted together, I probably still use some of the same cut/paste code stuff now that I originaly cut from your skins
