how about my playlist file remover plugin?
it will clear out the playlist so a song can only be played once and the latest version will then allow you to reload the playlist once the last file was removed. sounds like that will do what you need -daz |

Auto Save On Playlist File Remover
Begin New Topic:
There is an option to auto save the playlist in DRO's Plugin. Where does it save it ? How Can I acces it? Does save over itself every time and it's too late now? I acidently cleared my playlist and now i've lost it is there any way to revover, or is the auto save only for crashes and reloads? I see another plug I can install for future referece to auto save playlist |

if the reload playlist option is enabled then it will save the playlist to reload.m3u (or reload.m3u8 on 5.25+) but is removed on a proper shutdown. i can't remember off hand what happens if the plugin finds that on load but i think there's a fair chance it will overwrite it.
if you're concerned about losing your playlist on changes then i'd install the latest version of this and enable the option to save the undo queue on all changes (which would cover it). that will save copies of the playlist before change to %inidir%\plugins\gen_undo (where %inidir% is the location winamp.ini is saved out to) -daz |
