"Serious Problem has happend to windows"

After I riped a CD with WINAMP PRO I took out the cd and started to listening to the songs I riped, In the middle of the First song the computer totaly froze. I waited about 5 min to see if the computer would come back from anything and I didn't, So I manualy restarted the computer. It started back and went to the system fixing problem screen and started fixing what ever it was fixing. Then My computer went to the desktop and a little box poped up saying "you have just recovered from a seriouse problem that has happend to windows" And I closed the box, then another one poped up saying the same thing, after the 8th time it poped up it finaly didn't pop up again.

So Here are my questions:

(1) Why did this happen?

(2) Should I delete the CD I ripped w/ Winamp5 off my HD?

(3) Will this keep happening every time I rip w/ Winamp something?

Thanks in advance for your comments and suggestions.

1) I can't answer, could be one of many, each one probably unrelated to winamp.

2) Nope, have you tried playing them again? It's unlikely there's anything wrong with them and even if there was I don't think bad MP3's could do that to your system.

3) I doubt it, try!
