well i am not real sure if you have thought about this or not but, even if you dont belong or not a member of a church you should ask them for help. churches always have a benevolence (sp?) fund that they use to help people in the area. and it is usually a group of churches that combine together and can help whomever needs it. but i would call and talk to and set a meeting up with a pastor from one of the churches and i can almost bet they will help you. I thank god for my church i use to got to. They have help me out in the past numerous times.

Yeah I have a church I'm very active in. it's a small church body though, so....any money that comes in goes to equiptment and stuff like that. The alst thing I wanna' do is hinder God's work at our church. But people are pretty supportive and always give me someone to talk to who doesn't mind talking back. It's pretty good.

Yes it will.

I went through excruciating withdrawals from crystal meth in 95.
It took a month to get up on my own power, without passing out and falling back down,

It took over a year to get my system back to normal.
So it is with that experience and certainty that I can tell you
to just hang in there, because this too shall pass.

None of this paypal or whatever you do will matter,
if you don't have time to get things going.
I refused to make those calls and had everything I owned at the time,
thrown out on the street, including me and my daughter.
I'd hate to hear that happened to you and your family!

right i understand what you mean about not wanting to hinder Gods work at your church, but if you talk to your pastor about your situation, he has the recources and contacts that you dont and could get you some help from another church in the area!!! but you have to ask him

pixiefied asked for people to draw her a tatoo, and the thread was stickeid (stays @ top of forum) I just asked if this could get the same treatment since this is rather important.

If I remember right, Nightwing did indeed apply for, and received, welfare. I'm betting it won't cover a house payment and other bills as well, though. Papadoc's still offered the only good advice, especially if you're hell bent on ruling out the charity of the church.

About your "hindering the work of the church" spiel: touching. Are you in fact, not doing some form of church work? You've been obviously christian on the forums, and I thought your job had a churchy bent. The point is, by helping you, isn't the church furthering its ministry?

And please, please, please take papadoc's advice.

yeah I got foodstamps for 3 months, but I wasn't eligable for any other help. The government is jsut starting to realize the need to help people who are on *****, and trying to get off. it'll happen some day. But...I've run outta' food stamps, and now pretty much pick up every penny I see, to buy ramen noodles (hooray).

But.......to answer the question...nope. no disability, or gov. assistance other than a few bucks in foodstamps.....which expired a month ago. so...that's all. =)

PapaDoc....I've taken your advice very seriously, and contacted the proper people. I'm gonna' find a little help with that stuff, through people they will put me in contact with. I appreciate the advice very very much. Thank you

Just remember to keep in contact with them,
whenever you see that you can't meet your agreements.
As long as you keep calling, even if it's to say I'm in trouble,
or I'm gonna be late, they know your'e not gonna run out on them,
and your trying the best you can.

Have you thought about having a yard sale?
You may have to let go of some stuff you usually wouldn't,
but hard times call for hard decisions.
And you can make some quick easy cash.

Apply for help, the government will help you, you may have too move but you wont be homeless, you need too get you condition taken care of, and get a new job. I don't mean too sound rude, but i hope you learned something from this job your not getting paid from, I personally would have walked right out of there the day after payday and filed a suit against them. You have youre family and thats most important, if you wife needs a job then she should get one ASAP, things will get better, but they might get worse first. but they WILL ALWAYS GET BETTER! you can live like that for the rest of your life right? =) Ive seen the worst of times, but no matter what i picked myself up and pushed through it only too come out the other side with a much better attitude and alot more integrity, i understand you are in pain from withdrawals.. There is a point at which you are going too have too decide that the pain is not enough too stop you. Otherwise you'll be sitting there until your completely rehabilitated and it sounds like you nor your family has that amount of time if you wish too stay comfortable in your home at this point. I wish i could help you, but i can't.. You have my prayers and I hope that anyone here that is unable too help you grants you thier prayers as well.

Go to your local government center... file for help. Good luck.

I'd like to avoid bankruptcy. But.....if it's the only option.....that's all there is.

Good news though.....I think my withdrawls are starting to calm down finally! I might finally be kicking the stupid ***** out of my system. I sure hope so...we'll see if it keeps feeling better
