TI Releases the 84+/SE and 89 Titanium!!!

Texas Instruments has just announced the release of their three new calculators:

1.The 84 Plus features:

[color=dark-blue]"13 preloaded Handheld Software Applications (Apps), including Cabri® Jr.
3x the memory of the TI-83 Plus
Compatibility with TI projection devices*
A built-in USB port with cable
2.5x the speed of the TI-83 Plus
High-contrast display"[/color]

2.The 84 Plus Silver Edition features:
[color=royal blue]"30 preloaded Handheld Software Applications (Apps), including Cabri® Jr. and Periodic Table
9x the memory of the TI-83 Plus for storing up to 94 Apps
Interchangeable faceplates (available separately)
Compatibility with TI projection devices
A built-in USB port with cable
2.5x the speed of the TI-83 Plus
High-contrast display"[/color]

3.The 89 Titanium features:
"16 preloaded Handheld Software Applications (Apps), incl. CellSheet™ & NoteFolio™
3x the memory of the TI-89
A built-in USB port with cable
CD with operating manual & FREE Apps
Kickstand slide case
All of the features & functionality of the TI-89"


So all in all, 3 new calculators with:
- More Memory
- Faster CPU
- Improved Display
- Added USB port
- Compatibility with TI projection devices*
- and a facelift.

bloody hell, built in USB port. figures.

ah well, ill stick with my Ti-83 plus, its been good to me these last uh..over 4 years.

I'm happy with my TI-89 and TI-83 SE =)

I can't see any compelling reason to upgrade (especially since I got the SE for free), since it just seems like they repackaged them and threw in more memory.
