It seems that in this day and age there are just so many ideals that people are supposed to live up to that nobody can ever be happy with who they are. Girls are either too fat or their breasts too small, guys are too short, or have not enough muscles. Both sexes can never seem to dress appropriately. This world-wide culture has left people feeling down about themselves, and must look to others for approval or acceptance.

I say instead of this, instead of "stroking" each other, let's stroke ourselves for once. What I want is for everyone to list something, or many things for that matter, that they are happy with about themselves. On that note, I shall start.

I am proud of the fact that I am not afraid to speak my mind. Secondly I am proud that I am not too proud to ask others for help or at least their opinions on things.

I'm quite happy with the list of things I want to change, and the fact I'm too lazy to actually change/aren't quite sure how.

I bet there are things about myself I like, however, I'm too pessimistic to see it most of the time.

I dig how I'm direct, despite it getting me in trouble, it's a good thing to have around. I hate being bullshitted therefore I don't do it.
I dig how I can write fairly well, and I like my writing style.
I like how I can draw (I have no scanner still, so you'll just have to wait on the proof).

i like the fact that i can make almost anyone laugh.
i like the fact that people sometimes do find me quite strange.
i also like the fact that people trust me way to much (which, i dont betray, its just nice to be trusted)
i like the fact i can sit on my ass all day, not exercise, eat unhealthy and large amounts of food, and aside from a slight stomach, i am in great health.

Ok, here's my more serious post:

I love being a mom, even though at times it can be the hardest thing to be at times.

I'm a good friend, loyal to those that mean the most to me. I'm also very, hmmm, I guess protective, say what you want of me, no biggie, but you go after a loved one or friend and it's on.

I can laugh at myself, I'm far from perfect, and have way too many blonde moments (no insult intended to any blondes here).

I can appreciate the quiet moments, where no words are needed.

But, I think the best "feature", is my sense of humor. How else would I have survived here?
