want to get rid of mic sound through speakers

K, I'm just getting into the internet radio thing. At a local club they have DSL, and also want to give me a job as a DJ. I also do this from my house and am trying to get it working here first.

My setup includes a realtek soundcard built onto the motherboard (Abit BE7-RAID). My mic is a hand held that goes through my gemini mixer (along with CD decks) and if I was just doing CD's it would be fine. But most of my music is in MP3 format. What I want is for people in the studio (my room) to be able to listen to the music and not hear my voice on the microphone, since they can hear me talking anyhow.

I am going to put my mic directly into microphone (after I get a better converter) and have the CD decs in line in (otherwise it won't do much good having the mic not able to be heard as that would kill the CD decks).

I want to know if there are any better mixing solutions out there for windows. I could go through a seperate computer but that would be extra things to haul if I get the gig @ the club (and I can't afford it either).

I have hounded google and the search function on here for info and am about to give up. So I'm asking you people and all of your combined knowledge for help.
