Another ? for you video people...
Being pretty new to the world of video recording/converting and DVD's, my question is this:
Is it possible to combine two AVI files into one (like a movie that's on 2 CDR's) and then convert and burn the whole file to single DVD disk in a format that will play on my home DVD player or computer? I have a lot of movies that are on 2 CD's and would like to convert them and put them on DVD's so I wouldn't have to change the CD in the middle of the movie. Most all are now Divx.avi, if that makes a difference. If this can be done at all, how would I, and what software would I need in order to make this work. Thanks, Kico |

Combining is easy with VirtualDub or Virtualdubmod.
Just load the first part and then append the other(s), choose direct stream copy, and save. DVD players will only play them if they're DivX capable or if you convert the video to mpeg2 (not reommended). Fuck this place. |
