always [re]connecting ...
I am pretty sure I have everything set up correctly, although i cannot get my stream to well, stream.
I have been trying everything listed on the forum but i always end up in the same place at the end. with nsvgui, i have everything encoded adn set properly, but when i click "stream" it loads the windows prompt and goes through a list of items then it says its "adding file to list" then displays the filename.nsv, after it goes through all my selected files it says and loops "[re]Connecting to my-ip:8001" I dont know where to go from here or what I have and keep doing wrong. My port is 8000, but always tries 8001. I even try loading it manually by typing at the prompt: "nsvscsrc /sc my ip:8000 ass:headers.txt C:\nsv" and it displays the same thing as it does with nsvgui and ends up in the same place as well, always trying to [re]Connect.I have searched the forums and i could not find anything, i have have overlooked my solutions as this is my first time setting shoutcast up and i dont really know what i am doing 100%. If anyone knows what needs to be done first, or what im doing wrong or a link to a thread for a solution for me, id really appreciate it. Note: I can get regular shoutcast audio to stream.. I just cant get streaming video. at one point i had the audio streaming but no video. Thanks in advanced for any help and all responses. |

ARe you actually typing my-ip or are you just changing it for the public's eyes.
If the shoutcast is on the same pc as the gui, use localhost as the ip. Trying t connect to port 8001 is normal, since 8000 is for listening and 8001 is for the source. |
