Why on earth would you want 36k of bandwidth, it's just silly.

because...
i have a 56K computer, and i CANT broadcast any faster than that, but i dont want to sacrifice my computer's bandwith by making it a server.

if you have a '56k computer'... SHOUTcast aint for you. Thats just a cold fact that you will have to accept. When you get broadband, then you might revisit the idea, but in the meantime, enjoy that modem!

The important and rather obvious point that seems to be completely passing you by CSA is that if i were to set up a server with 36k of bandwidth you would use up 36k of bandwidth on your connection providing the source for the server to stream.
