text.bmp

is it still possible to use text.bmp to provide the font face for the track area? or is the pledit.txt designated font the only one used?

CTRL + P > Preferences > Classic skins > Check " use skinned font for main window title display"

This used to be ticked by default I think, now it appears as if it's unchecked by default, thus forcing winamp to use a default system font, that's where you get the slightly larger text line from that fugs up the displays. Probably something to do with international title displays etc etc as bitmap fonts don't support it.
