possible to use NSV to stream a webcam I'm viewing?
Hi all - I've used NSV before to stream my OWN webcam directly.. no problem.
my question is this: Is it possible to use NSV to stream someone ELSE'S webcam that I am viewing? specifically, let's say I'm on Yahoo messenger (Trillian actually) watching someone else's webcam. Is there any way to grab THAT video window and use NSV to stream it to other people? |

Yahoo Messenger (Trillian) itself has a capture button for capturing stills, I want to take the live webcam feed that I'm viewing from a remote person and pipe it back out again to other people using NSV... if it's possible...
if NSV can't do this, does anybody know of a utility that will? |

probably not the best way to capture stills and then re-animate them, but it can be done.
We do alot of this stuff for live "vj" apps. I recommend actually capturing the webcam stream first using camtasia first, its by far the best for this kindda thing that i have found. If you really have to use stills (captured frames) you will need an application to animate them in real time. It will probably be a waste of processor time, but check vjforums.com, there are plenty of links for software that would let you do this, for example visual jockey 3.5.
