also, the "now playing" section of the media library says this. it's always been able to look up the songs before, so i think they're related.

Music File Identification Error

The digital music file currently playing cannot be identified. This could be due to a number of reasons, but the most common is improper or garbled tagging.

Since the Minibrowser depends on clean information to work, the integrity of tags is essential. Checking your music file tags is simple, just do the following:

Press Alt-3.
In the ensuing field, you will see two tagging options: 1) ID3v1 and 2) ID3v2.
We recommend using the ID3v2, as it can contain more information about the file.
To correct the tag, click the white box by the word "ID3v2 Tag," enter or correct any information you have availalbe, such as artist name, album name and so on, then
Click "Update."
Then click the "Refresh" icon on the MiniBrowser frame (lower left). The MiniBrowser should now work.

I spotted this in another post and it works: In the minibrowser, try clicking the "More" button and selecting "Update Links." This doesn't fix the issue with using adblockers, so if you're still having trouble click the link DJ Egg provided to find out more about that problem.

Yeah, 'Update Links' fixes the 'Music File Id Error' thingy.
