mp3pro requires your listeners to download a plugin in order to get the benefits of mp3pro otherwise it's a halfquality mp3 stream.

It doesn't show up in the "input" section, but I'm guessing it requires a restart of winamp.

in any installation of a plugin it's generally a good idea to restart winamp.

Try this from the Winamp plugins - MP3Pro Decoder.
http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=99390 I just DL'd the plugin after reading the comments about it being a DOG 1st class and installed it and re set my 20k MP3 mono stream to the same settings but in MP3Pro using the Sam encoders and I am well impressed. I have looked at this before and was put off by the reviews but thought I may as well give it a go. Install this plugin and you wount want to listen to a normal mp3 stream ever again. anyone on Live 365 tell your listeners to use Winamp and this Plugin so they get all the quality without having to pay 365 for it Its the dogs danglie bits fo shure! |
