Okay, I use DreamHost webhosting, they cannot help me (I've already asked

) I use Telnet and do the ./sc_serv thing. And it gives me this nice long error message... can anyone help a poor soul?

ok, it goes: Inconsistency detected by ld.so: dynamic-link.h: 62: elf_get_dynamic_info: Assertion '! "bad dynamic tag"' failed!

Does the DNAS binary match the underlying platform?

make sure you downloaded the correct build of shoutcast. (i.e a freebsd image will not work in linux)
