Distance Make Difference?
Hey its Me Hunter,From Xfreq radio that shut down because of finacial problems.Well im trying to start it back up because we just cant live without shoutcast.Does the distance between a person and server make a difference besides longer connect times and more lag?Because i know a place to get a good price on a server but its in china and im wondering if its gonna make that big of deal since im in USA and most of my listeners are and the servers in China?

Hmmmm it will depend on what the internet quility is over there. If there is any bottle necks it will hurt you quility alittle. I would try to stay around the US or Canada. At least you do not have to cross the Atlantic Ocean or Satelite to get your information there.

The internal buffer maintains the delay as you may allready know. The distance may vary slightly from location.
