Mixing Live with turntables...
Hey I use turntables to DJ and I was just wondering if I have to set my sorce input on the plug-in to "Sound card input" or should I leave it on "WinAmp"?
What is the best way to transfer the mix from my turntables to the shoutcast? Do I just have to have it pluged into the soundcard input? What? Thanks!!!!!!! http://www.djdubbleu.com |

Plug from your mixer into the LineIn. Select soundcard input and click "mixer". Configure the mixer to select LineIn.

Someone to check your server? As in, test? Please post a listen link, then.

Hey master mind Thanks for the help!
One more question, (but I cant tell ya it will be the last, haha), I noticed when I click the mixer button that 2 different mixers show up, a recording mixer and the usual sound mixer. I noticed that I can select the line volume in the recording mixer, is this the line I want to select or should I just make sure that the normal mixers lineIN is not muted? |

another question Master Mind, (what a suprise!), when I do the turntable mix should I see any indication of volume being played in WinAmp, like I see when I play mp3s? or is it okay the WinAmp is just chillin when I do a turntable mix? Thanks again!

You will want to make sure it's not muted and select it.
If you look in the DSP > 'Main' tab, there will be vB bars. Make sure that they're moving to the music. -- Michael |
