Post [Preview] Copperdeck II

Hi,

I am working on a skin that mirrors my favourite windowblinds theme... Called Copperdeck II.

It started as a Winamp 3 skin. And still needs a few adjustments before it looks ok in 5.02.

I've attached a preview image. Could you let me know what you think of it.

Thanks

It looks good, but have you got the original authors permission?

Yes, I have the permission from the author who made the original graphics.

I'm currently working on the playlist editor. Creating my own buttons, instead of the buttons of the statusbar. Like the winamp modern skin I want to display the time of the song and the total playlist time. I'm looking for the script(source) that handles that.

I like such skins: functional and good looking too.

And, if you are still looking for the code for the playlist timer:

code:

<text
id="PLTime"
ticker="1"
display="PE_Info"
x="-180" y="7" w="55" h="8"
relatx="1"
font="Tahoma"
align="left"
valign="top"
fontsize="8"
color="0,255,0"
/>

oh, is it just that text item... I did find that when I looked at the winamp modern skin. But I thought the values were calculated with the script 'pltime.maki'.

thanks for the help, I'll go and try it out.

One more question though... Aren't the scrollbars in the playlist and the media library skinnable anymore?

About the scrollbars in the playlist editor: I don't think it's possible. If it is, I have no idea how.

In the media library: I didn't try it, but I think with a studio-elements.xml it can be done. Do you remember that? You overwrite the default images for the buttons with such a file. I have no experience with this, but you can look in some other skins.

Thanks, I did that already. In Winamp 3 the Scrollbar in the playlist and Media library are skinned. But in Winamp 5 it isn't working anymore.

So, my gues is that it isn't possible anymore... or, the elements have been renamed...

it won't work in 2.9 because it's a modern skin.

Sorry, you have to wait a bit longer. I'm still working on the winshade mode.

And I'm discovering some new skinning features that I'm implementing.

So a little more patience please, trust me it will be rewarded when the skin in finished... Unless you DO have 2.9... cause like this name of this forum says... 'Modern Skins'

Saturday I thought I was ready. Sunday I learned how to make a drawer.

Having some difficulties with the colorhemes list inside the drawer.

But I expect to have it finished late this / early next week

fduivenv ..... that is great news ... I know I'm impatient but take your time really and do a great job. The preview looks good to me already but more features is always a good thing.

Let me just be the first to thank you for this skin, I don't know why it hasn't been done already but it's opportunity for others I guess .... thanks.
