trying to help one of my DJ's

I have a DJ that has changed to a dial up connection. I do not know how long she will remain without broadband. I do not want to lose her as a DJ. Is there an alternate version of Shoutcast that was designed more for dial-up users? I had heard there used to be, but my information may be either wrong or out-dated.
