Server Not Being Listed in Yellowpages

I have everything set up correctly I believe.

<02/28/04@23:02:45> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com added me successfully

Above is the message confirming that I am connected. I am running a server AND the broadcaster. After I connect, I CANNOT FIND MY SERVER LISTED on www.shoutcast.com. Under "description" I have the name of what I wanted the broadcast to be called. I searched for that. I didn't find it listed.

I want to make you aware that I am running both the server and client on the same computer. I am behind a firewall but did open up ports 8000-8001. I think the problem might lie within my IP address. In order for the server to communicate with my client, I need the client to connect to 192.168.2.111 which is my LAN IP. It won't connect to my real IP of 68.xxx.xxx.xxx. However, everyone else needs to connect to the 68.xxx.xxx.xxx IP address. Is this the problem, how can I fix it? If not, what is the problem? Thanks, Pete.

Ok, I see that YP is kind of unpredictable and tends to display/not display listings whenever it feels like. Am I correct to assume this?

Now that I see my listing, I asked a couple of people to try and connect. No one seemed to be able to. According to my server/client, everything was functioning properly. When people tried to connect, they had no sound coming to them. I have the output configured to "Winamp" and I had stuff playing. Could this be due to the IP situation I had described above?

The DNAS is independent of the YP.

Please post a link to the DNAS.

The YP .pls file is listing only one of my streams - so it will only display x/10 listeners. It's not adding my relay server so that I show up as a cluster with x/20 listeners. The server that isn't getting listed:

[yp_add] error resolving yp.shoutcast.com

Over and over again. Should I just blame this on the YP still having issues?

I believe that is a problem with the YP, yes. Wait it out and report back at the end of the day if you are still receiving it.
