iNTERNET Radio, yes i read the faq's but

Ok, I been trying to set up an internet radio that will generate a play list from my website. The site has great bandwidth and over 2gigz....

I’ve tried shout cast but no dice, someone told me i would need a 'shell web server' I do not know what this is.

Also I been searching for flash radio players... i found quite a few but none have a random play list maker... anyone have anything please let me know

My goal is just to set up a small play button to stream some mp3's or if possible use winamp to stream without download. + have a 'shuffle' mode so it can just pick the songs and work it out on it's own all from my site and not my computer.

Anyone have anything or any help at all please. Thank you
I also would like developer software’s if possible.

If the source mp3s are on a webserver, construct a playlist (pls) file and link to it.

Scroll down a bit and look for the section titled:

yes but I would like the server to run the link. Would this require my computer to be on?

maybe I’m wrong but i understand it this way. even though the mp3's are going to be streamed through my site, the user's would have to be linked through my computer to a play list.
or am i totally off and the way u described will allow my site to do all the work.

The webserver method will require the webserver and the source file location to be online.
These can be the same or different machines.

There is no shuffle mode for ondemand with a webserver other than modifying the pls.

yea i been at it for a 30min now. i got everything down and thank you but it wasn't what i had in mind. this is not secure and anyone can leach off the files alone.
and the shuffle was really importent.

Try the ondemand with a DNAS option.
