I'm thinking(which is a bad sign, already) of upgrading
to Pro. I now use XP Home is there a "big" difference?
I don't do games. Uh, thank mew!

WELL?

Windows XP Home, and Knoppix.

Widdy: I have used both (Home and Pro) and I can't tell the difference.

The only difference is the status symbol between home and pro users. Oh that and the price.

I use XP Pro on two systems.

The difference between home are mainly more advanced corporate features, such as Remote Desktop, NTFS File Encryption, Advanced File Sharing and Permissions, the ability to join a Domain, and GPEdit.

Remote Desktop is quite the time saver!
