Broadcasting trouble while on the air.

In my DSP plugin Shoutcast Source, under the input tab, when I have it on soundcard and talk into the mic, it streams bytes fine. But when I flip it back to winamp, nothing streams out. I also noticed under the input levels, the db's are maxed all the way up, yet nothing is broadcasting. Any clue as to how to fix this?
