Wont go online!!!

Hey i just installed SHOUTcast in my Winamp 5.0

But when i try making a radio station, it wont go online!

I filled out all the fields, but still no affect.

My internet connection is trough a Router with in-built firewall, could that have anything to do with my problem??

Please answer quickly!!!!

Please elaborate on what you've tried. Are you getting any error messages?

1. Go into your router and forward a port you want to use for broadcasting (ie: port 8001>>9000).

2. Go into your Shoutcast DNAS and edit the admin password (default is "changeme"). That will be the password you enter.

Also, please look over the "15 steps to setting up Shoutcast": http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....threadid=90040

Unfortunately, I have never heard of a "Level1 Router", so that's the best help I can give (as some routers function alike). You might want to check here.

Do you have a DNAS (SHOUTcast server) installed?

Did you change the DNAS variables srcIP and destIP from ANY?

Is your DNAS and Winamp/DSP combo on the same machine?

What exactly are you entering for "Address" and "Port" in the DSP?

Please answer them all to expidite your help request.

Please read some polite advice.

If the DNAS and Winamp/DSP combo are on the same machine, then use "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" or "the lan ip of the DNAS if you're on a lan" (without the quotes) as the Address in the DSP.

I'm referring to the Address portion of the DSP.
