Question regarding mp3's

I downloaded a couple of songs, and some of them have a little static noise through the whole 3-4 minutes.

Some people told me it's another way to force you to buy the artit's CD, and I can see the logic in it (like those tracks that take the first 15 seconds of a song and just repeat it for 5 minutes).

But I was wondering if there was any way to get rid of that static noise.

Any ideas ?

its a copy protection method. once you have an mp3 with static, its hard to remove, but you should be able to find Ok copies. DO NOT buy the CD. buying copy protected CDs is bad. I'd ery much like to have a big stack of CDs at home, with mp3s loaded into my HDD based mp3 player, butfilesharing is killing that.

So in conclusion, by all means download, but dont support filesharing, leech.

(i still like bittorrent though)

yes, its very annoying. me and a friend had to download "paradise city" by guns n roses over 35 times before we found one that worked. it pisses me off!

Kazaa bad m'kay. try a less RIAA corrupted file sharing service, and Im sure you'll have better results.

Sorry. Those mp3's are probarly copy protected.

Download in .ogg format, you will probably find a greater % of good files.
