DSP loses connection on maximization...HELP!

I'm using Winamp 2.91 and Shoutcast DSP 1.80, (It records streams and works with SB Live cards, which I have) and whenever I minimize Winamp, the stream keeps going fine. But when I try to maximize it, most of the time the Shoutcast DSP loses the connection to the server, (which is my own local server) and I am forced to restart Winamp. Any ideas on how I might be able to fix this problem?

EDIT: I just lost it again, WITHOUT minimizing... This is strange. Also, it does the same thing with Winamp5...
