Preset Questions
Hi!
First of all, sorry for my English, I´m from Germany ![]() I want to use Milkdrop in combination with a Video-Beamer. Actually, this beamer has been fixed at the top in a party-room to watch videos etc. I was wondering about trying to mount a mirror in front of the lense, so that the beamer will throw its pics etc. down on the dancefloor. Should look really cool in the fog ![]() I got the mirror-thing done, and now I´m searching for presets with a lot of dots, or symbols or kind of that. I want to get an effect like the big scanners running in dance-clubs. I know I can´t move the mirror like this, but I want to try using Milkdrop to "send" out single beams and lines, so I need dots on the screen, right? The presets I use with milkdrop are too much filled with colors and waves and so on. I tried it already, but I only get a wide beam down on the floor. I think this is because the presets start in the middle of the screen and run out to the sides of the screen, so they fill the hole screen with colors. Does anybody have presets with single dots, symbols or figures? Or how to build them? I hope u understand what I mean ![]() Yours, kingpulp |

Try my Cyberia presets, or some of these others I picked out.. they may do the trick:
------------- What do you wish for? --Instrumentality |

Will that even work though? Your projector will still put out light within the whole video area won't it?
Meaning the object in the preset won't be the only part giving out light. |
