Intro file and bitrate

What bitrate are we talking about when we do intro32.nsv as a intro file ? Bitrate of video, as we mentionned in VP6, or sound in AAC, or the average final bitrate ?

By the way, why do we have to enter 2 times the bitrate in vp6 via NSV Live Capture ?

i have merged all your threads. Please try to use only one thread per topic, if needed edit your original thread. Originally the intro and backup files feature was written for mp3's. I am not sure how well it works with nsv files, but I imagine that as long as the nsv file is the same encoding as the stream it should work, just make sure not to include headers. Don't worry about the bitrate feature of the intro file, just give it the exact name of the file.

My problem is that the intro file comes from a mpeg converted in nsv, and the live comes from the cam, so not same source, not same soft, but same codecs !

Is there a way to make a FULLSCREEN link, on the active X player, so it do the same as "right clic/zoom/fullscreen" but with a html/javascript link ?

yeah, eric, you make a java popup window with a new activeX component. You specify the larger movie size in the active X controls, and you specify full screen with the java controls.

KXRM - Ive seen this into file done on many of the porn streams but I can get it to work, you seem to have an idea.

So far ive managed to get the intro file streaming, but as soon as it ends, it cant seem to link to the actual stream. And the stream is fine as the relay picks it up no probs.

As you suggested I left the mega tags empty, and tryed several different file names for the intro file, including playlist.nsv, stream.nsv and intro.nsv all do the same thing.

And the bit rate is almost the same as the stream.
Does it have to be exact? As it seems to change on its own any how.

Any suggestions?

I must clarify what Felt Her said.

javascript

java is not javascript and they are not related except that the word 'java' is in javascript. there is no java controls. (This can confuse people so I had to point it out)

Make sure the backup and live streams are the same codec and frame rate. The bitrate does not matter.

The audio bitrate does matter, video is the one that doesn't.

audio bitrate doesnt cause the skipping but it does make it sound funny (have two vids that are the exact same back to back, but encode the audio on one at half or whatever the bitrate of the other, YOU WILL NOTICE IT SPEED UP / SLOW DOWN AND LAUGH!
