help with error please

my mate is gettin this error:

<03/23/04@18:28:23> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer (IP: 62.254.0.34:8001) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection refused))


he is on ntl cable (i use the same with no problem)

I first thought he must have a fire wall blocking it, hes says he has norton on but he has clicked it to disable. but still gettin error

is this cos the norton firewall is still runnin in background


he does not want to uninstall norton and i dont know how to configer the ports on norton, so if that is the problem can someone direct me to a good site to configer ports on norton
