Use of passwords
I am at bitconfused as to the useage of the two password options in the sc_serv.ini config.
For a locally hosted server, "password" and "adminpassword". If I give a DJ who is not sitting in the same room with me, the "password" they can still connect to my server and kick my local host to begin broadcasting their stream through my server correct? "adminpassword" gives me the local host full control to then resume my local hosted show when their show is done? I have read the config file, but want to hear the real world explanation, thanks

adminpassword just gives a person access to the admin page on the DNAS. it doesnt give the person using it broadcast access.
the regular password gives full access. |

I think you may have it backwards:
I belive the adminpassword gives access to everything (both broadcasting and admin page), while the DJ password will only allow a broadcast connection (ie, can't use it to see the admin page). rg. |

password is the encoder only password if adminpassword is set adminpassword allows access to RIP, Ban and Kick capabilities. If no adminpassword is set then password is an all access password. -Jay | Radio Toolbox.com |

I entered both a password and an adminpassword, but when i try to log in to the DNAS Admin page, I can only use the normal password, and not the adminpassword. How do you activate the admin password?
