Winamp 5 WINE compatibility
I've heard that Winamp5 is not compatible with WINE. Can anyone confirm this? If so, does 2.9x run? (I just don't want to be without my precious media library, and xxms is somewhat lacking)

Since Winamp 2 uses the same codebase as Winamp 5, there will be no difference in Wine compatibility.
Winamp 5 minus some plugins = Winamp 2 with some bugfixes. eeeee eeeeeee eeeee eeeee eeeee 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 8 88 8eee8 8e 8 8 8eee8 8e 8 8 8 88 8 88 8 8 88 8 88 8 8 8 88 8 88 8 8 88 8 88 8 8eee8 |

however modern skins don't work afaik. and as amano pointed out Winamp 5 is Winamp 2.x with bug fixes and some extra plugins added to it. just run it with classic skins and all should work fine (hopefully) -daz |
