Adding option to Playlist Editor

I would like to see the option "Import active (current) playlist" that is available in the Media Library accessible from the playlist editor, maybe under "Manage Playlists".
Also, it would be nice if these imported playlists differed somehow. Having 8-9 playlists named "Imported Playlist" is... not good...

i agree that maybe devs could change it to "imported playlist ##" although they are very busy...

but is it that hard to change the name urself? Its not like u'll be importing 10 different playlists at the same time.

Of course not, but by that logic, why have keyboard shortcuts is winamp? You can just as easily click with your mouse? Why have skins? You can just as easily use Winamp with the default skin?

Let's say you have a View in the Media Library with all your Britney Spears albums. You double click on this view to start playing it. All the songs are copied to the playlist editor. While this playlist is playing, you delete a few songs from it because you don't like them. After a while you want to save the list of remaining songs as a new playlist in your Media Library.

What's the easiest way to do it?

im using a classic skin, so i would right click the pl button and click "manage playlists" then click import active playlist..

Oh, so that's your suggestion instead of adding the button? Use a classic skin?

the modern skin has the menu with left clicking (its the default menu) but with classic skins, you have to rightclick the playlist button...

And what I want is the Import Playlist button without having to open up the Media Library

but it takes me litterally 2 seconds to do it that way.. 4 if you include closing the medialibrary...

it just seems like a useless feature for something that easy... besides, what would you do with the imported playlist, if you never open up the medialibrary?

I can open a playlist from the media library from the playlist editor, wouldn't it be logical to also be able to save a playlist to the media library from the playlist editor?

There are three different options to open playlists, but only one option to save, and that is to save to an external file.
Why would it be so horrible to ad a button that saves the current playlist to the media library?
