I know people have said this hundreds of times before but how do I get a "Now Playing" Sig, and can I h it explained plain English pleased, I'm god with comps but the tech language baffles me.

I use www.gerpok.com.

The only objection one may have is that it reads the now playing from WinAmp, not the DNAS.

I know I must appear stupid but I'm none the wiser, and now i've read all the threads and the faq's and can't find one that works, the PHP thing I don't understand, if some could explain where I have to copy and paste all that it would be great

Do you have an account setup with a free web host that supports PHP yet? That is the first step.

no how would i do that, i only want a sig not for it to be relayed to a website

unless you are planning on running ( and know how) to run PHP on your own computer you need a "host" that runs PHP. Most scripts around are based on PHP, so this may be were your confusion starts. I use www.freepgs.com. There are plenty to choose from. They used to be free, but now charge a one time fee of $3USD for 50MBS and unlimited bandwidth server space. They support PHP.

Feel free to find another, once you do, we can go to step 2.

Gerpok will host the image for you. No need to have a compatible webhost.
