PB&J sandwhich = patent infringement

That's right, someone has invented the "sealed crustless sandwich"... commonly known as the "peanut butter and jelly sandwhich.

See for yourself...

Well, that's strange, but not if you know that Microsoft has now pattented(sp) the "double-click" action to access anything on the PC.

Dear God! The PB&J. Is there nothing sacred?

I reccommend, slice of toast, smear with Hellmans Mayonaise, smear, again with PB. Repeat process with 2nd piece of toast, Apply jam to one piece and slap togther, cut diagonally, and sit back, relax and enjoy.

Children...Advance from your aged and futile sandwiches...

I always think of Jelly, like gelatin, instead of what we call Jam.

In the US:

Jelly: a semitransparent easily melted food preparation having a soft somewhat elastic consistency due to the presence of gelatin, pectin, or a similar substance

Jam: a product made by boiling fruit and sugar to a thick consistency without preserving the shape of the fruit

Preserves: fruit cooked whole or in large pieces with sugar so as to keep its shape

Jell-O: used for gelatin dessert often given the flavor and color of any of various fruits

Also, Jell-O and Jelly in the US are NOT the same things.

When do you NOT set the record straight?!

Also, This Patent thing is a new fad for most. After the thing with Eolas got them a big reward, EVERYONE has been trying to patent EVERYTHING.

Just like Apple and their many simple patents in OSX and the iPod interface....

When the record is already straight, or when I don't give a rats ass about setting it straight.

Actually, they patented "double-clicking" on handheld devices to perform a specific action, vs holding the button down to perform another action. The patent really isn't that broad.

They make those all over the world.

Making a PBJ sandwich at home, as long as the bread has crust, and you don't crimp the edges - you're fine.

I seem to be the only one who ACTUALLY READ IT.

theyre copyrighting a PB&J sandwich with the edges somehow crimped so theyre sealed. Not PB&J sammiches in general.

and sega copyrighted the user-movable camera for videogames, so you can see how much MS's doubleclick patent means.

Was introduced to the Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich many years ago, now a firm favourite.

One of America's greatest cultural achievements

Add a layer of whipped cream or Greek yoghurt for the Deluxe version.

I wonder if anyone at the patent office has seen one of those sandwich irons that you hold over a campfire? We used to make PBJs that were sealed all the time.
