NSV Coder 0.3
The NSV community is running forward in fast motion. But out there I've seen alot of newbies asking over and over; how can I make a Video/TV Server. For that purpos we got NullSoft Streaming Video! But handling all those dos commands and beta software can sometimes be a difficult task for even the most advanced user.
I must admit that I am not more than a newbie trying to make nsv more easier, for that purpos I created NSV Coder. This project is still in beta and covers only the most basics of NSV encoding and streaming. The project has along way yet and will be updated frequently. Thanks Sankt for putting me up and Ken for your remark, since some of my ideas have been drawned from your work.
For NSV Coder I used pascal. Guess most of the programmers today uses C or C+/+. But Pascal, in my eyes, gives more stable productivity and uptimized interface though its restricted to the Win32 enviroment. |

Yesterday I tried out NSV coder 0.3 but it only supported streaming ready made nsv files. I'm interested in live capturing and streaming with my TV-card as input. In addition having Title Control a la NSVCap would be real nice.
If I understand correctly NSV Coder basically is a GUI wrapped around nsvenc.exe right? Would it be hard to incorporate Title Control? |

You are right, NSV Coder is a GUI that uses the existing nsv encoder and sourcer to encode and stream nsv files. At this moment NSV Coder (currently 0.4 BETA) does not support the use of live capture and sreaming of such source.
It was never meant for NSV Coder to be more than a simple GUI, but as I see my self use more and more of my spare time on this project I have thought of incorporating streaming from live sources, but it will take some time and I must admit that I am not a hardcore coder (just like them NullSoft boys..) So I cant predict the release of such version yet. |
