I hate to ask this more so considering there is probably a load of threads about this but im horrid at searching nad could find none

basicly i want to know how i would apply a layer that uses alpha blending (in this case dodge) and partial transparency (in this case 10%), right now all that happins when i apply said layer is i get a black tint in the gfx.

Erm, by dodge you mean the layer settings in Photoshop? You can't save that effect into the PNG, only the transparency. Unless I'm misunderstanding you.

Correct, you cannot duplicate "blend mode" effects between seperate PNGs in Winamp, it will only take transparecy into account.
