help needed plz

hello
i get errors on the shoutcast server
i configured my NAT to open ports 8000 and 8001.
there is no other programs that use those ports but i stil get the error that port 8000 is in use and the server goes to port 8001,the funny thing is that the plugin only can connect on port 8000 and it does so..

the plugin is sending data but nobody can connect to the winamp
i paste some logs to let you see

the server never goes to port 8001 - if you use the default setting in the server software your server port = 8000.

have you changed something and forgot to kill the server before restarting it? you get the same error when trying to open the server software while an other one is still running!

it says clrearly source listening for connection on port 8001??


i killed the server
closed al other programs and stil i get the same message
but i get the massage on all ports..

killed the server,configured it to port 6000 and restarted the shoutcast..same problem.
i'm lost here

edit the plugin sends data ??

in the plugin - the ip number is that your external ip or is it the ip from your network?

www.whatsmyip.com or www.mijnip.nl to get your "real" ip number.

thats the ip from the network

the server and the winamp plugin are on the same computer

If the SHOUTcast DNAS (server) and DSP/WinAmp combo are on the same machine, put localhost into the address box in the DSP.

i put the same lan Ip on the shoutcast config also

on localhost it don't connect

ok i can connect with the plugin on localhost now

but i still get the shoutcast server error on port whatever

i hate XP

shoutcast.com added my station to the list
