Streaming for Windows Media Player

im sorry about this but i really need help ive been tryin ages to get my radio station on windows media player but it doesnt simply work. can some help please i have read the other forums and this was one way u could do it ,this is what im doin is theres anything wrong can some1 please say.
i open notepad and paste the following code
<asx version="3.0">
<title>TITLE</title>
<entry>
<title>TITLE</title>
<author>AUTHOR</author>
<ref href="http://80.1.76.225:8000/"/>
</entry>
</asx>

( <ref href="http://80.1.76.225:8000/"/> this being my link for people able to her my radio with winamp note that i have left /listen.pls out)
then i save the file as listen.asx

after this i open up a web designing program and link the file listen.asx to it.

i save the file as index (the page with the link) and then i upload the files could it be because of the hosting service ive tried freewebs ntlworld and others.

the other thing that i have noticed it that what i have done above works on my pc (when i open the index file saved on my pc not the uploaded 1 at the site) and it works fine but then when i upload the files and click the link it comes up with AUTHOR and nothing else windows media player doesnt even load.

will some please help if some1 knows and dont want to regester to this winamp thing say it on my site www.badboyzradio.tk
