Help plz server problems

ok i downloaded the plug in and the DNAS and did everything i got my ip addy put it in and put port 8000 and hit connect but it wont connect i have tryed many times i don't know whats wrong i have tryed everything i can thing of
plz anyone who can help reply any info would be greatly appreciated thanks

ok on a site called http://www.impetuous.net if you go there then go to habbo guides and then click radio guide thats the steps i followed to set up my radio

If the SHOUTcast DNAS (server) and DSP/WinAmp combo are on the same machine, put localhost into the address box in the DSP.

I hit submit twice.

When i put localhost and hit connect it says connecting then not connected within a few seconds
so that didn't help soz but if anyone elese can help plz reply

Do you have a DNAS (SHOUTcast server) installed?

If so, did you change the DNAS variables srcIP and destIP from ANY?

Is your DNAS and Winamp/DSP combo on the same machine?

What exactly are you entering for "Address" and "Port" in the DSP?

Yes its installed and its on the same machine

in Dnas i change the password, max user #(now set to 10), and the yport(now set to 666)

for address i put http://my ip
and port i put 800 and i have tryed a few others too like 8001, 8050, 8002, etc...

but i do have 2 computers in my house would it help if the server was on one and i tryed to run it on the other but they have the same ip address because the modem is hooked to a router
