I started playing bass about the same time you picked up guitar...Has it already been 9 months?
![]() If anyone wants to know, I have a '70s Kingston bass (Body/pickguard looks like a jazz-bass) that's a short-scale 4-string...Replaced the pick-up with a single-coil Seymour Duncan SRB-1, which is a Rickenbacker pickup...I also have a Peavey MINX 110 amp and a Digitech BP200 effects pedal, although when I'm at my dad's house, I play on his Hartke amp (Forgot the model of the head and how big the cab is)... 3 years, fender squire strat. Shitty little amp.
My setup isn't important. If something is stringed and tuned properly i'll be happy.

For my birthday, I got a Squire bass guitar...Don't know the model though, but when I got new strings for it (Was on display at the Willis Music store I bought it from, and the strings were dead from all the people that played it), it sounded pretty damn good...
Probably unimportant, but my Squire acoustic bass has Martin & Co. light guage strings, while my Kingston has Ernie Ball medium guage strings...
