NSV problems
Hi, i'm kinda new to NSV and i'm trying to setup a station to broadcast some game videos. I've had limited success when viewing my own stream. Right now I can view any TV stream using Winamp 5 but when attempting to view my own I can not get any video.
Could someone test this and maybe give me a few tips on encoding. http://24.42.216.44:8000 Thanks .

You'll get banned for that you know. Nullsoft requires you have enough bandwidth to actually run your stream. Originally posted by yeshuawatso :...get Nullsoft to [accept] new moderators? ... election? ... If Inedible Bulk is the candidate, then I give my vote. |

I've read it all and I believe it should be working but I can not view my own stream.
I'm not really worried about getting banned off their media list atm, I just want this to work. |

I got it but there's no video or audio, but I am connected.
I guess you didn't read it all, or you did but didn't follow it. The video box says you're VP6.2 at a resolution of 928x704 at 11 fps, and your audio, well, theres no audio. Your streams is REALLY at 138kbps, and since that's under half of the 300 you list yourself as, that's ALSO bannable, as you have to have at least half of the bandwidth you list yourself at. Sir, I'm sure you didn't read them. Originally posted by yeshuawatso :...get Nullsoft to [accept] new moderators? ... election? ... If Inedible Bulk is the candidate, then I give my vote. |

So besides the fact that i'm going to be banned, is there anything you think I'm doing wrong in the aspect of not viewing video or audio?
edit: I'm not sending audio in the nsv files, np there. |

Well I'm not sure what's going on, theres just no video but it shows that there is video going at xbitrate, but nothing is displayed in the screen.
I don't know what steps you took to create said video, so I can't aid you. Originally posted by yeshuawatso :...get Nullsoft to [accept] new moderators? ... election? ... If Inedible Bulk is the candidate, then I give my vote. |

Hi everyone:
Yeah. Reduce your screen size to something more reasonable. There's NOTHING more annoying to me than to tune into a station where the screen takes up 3/4 of my desktop. Yours would probably take up just about the ENTIRE desktop. If I want to watch your station full screen, I can always hit ALT+ENTER or highlight FULLSCREEN in the video options menu in the video pane. But since you offer NO SOUND, nobody is going to even bother with your station anyway no matter HOW you encode your videos. Just something to think about... Cheers for now
