couple of question
hi i am pretty new to this radio stuff and downloaded shoutcast 5 minutes ago and i configured it and all its working fine (give it a try at http://funaki1.no-ip.com:8000/listen.pls) it might work and might not depends on my computer. now the problem is i cant see it in the list i know there are lots of threads out here regarding this but my problem is different. My ISP uses a transparent proxy 217.17.233.136 and on phone and everywhere they say that they dont use it now my Radio Station wont show in the list but if i tell my friends the url it works i even use a router and it is configured properly and it lets inbound connection to port 8000 and friends can listen to it but in the Server Windows this is the message i get
<07/09/04@22:50:21> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave error (nak) <07/09/04@22:50:21> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer (IP: 217.17.233.136:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection timed out)) its in the bold part notice its taking the wrong ip that is of the transparent proxy. Is there a way that i can tell shoutcast to not to point back to that ip i got a redirector that is funaki1.no-ip.com and instead of 217.17.233.136 it shud ping back to funaki1.no-ip.com and take that ipaddress. That is the problem and the other thing is Is there a plugin that lets you talk while the music is playing ( i already tried this and it works http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....eadid=86076..i was thinking if there is anything else too) and can anyone point me to good Dj related plugins one might need. Thanks a lot |

1. SEARCH THE FORUMS BEFORE POSTING!!!!
![]() 2. You can press "Ctrl+P" and then goto "DSP Plugins" and select NONE. |

You cant minimise it.
Generally the "disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache" is pretty well discussed. Try a search for that maybe. Also, who is your ISP and what connection speed - other people in a simular situation might be able to help,,, |
