Help for a noob

having some problems skinning winamp.
first of all for some odd reason i cant get the active.png file for my shuffle and repeat to activate the repeat and shuffle work just no active.png and i have a eq button and thinger button set up but cant them to pop up i tried doing xml for the eq button had a background and everything and it acted like it was activated by the active.png but nothing showed. and that leads to my next question i want to have an eq slide out drawer but dont understand the maki and how to set up the xml files i dont group anything so this hole group talk confuses me to extremes. if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

i don't really understand your problem mark... could you try and explain it again?

do you mean that when you click shuffle (for example) then you don't get an active image, just shows that pink/purple square?

yah i fixed the problem with the shuffle and repeat had them set as ordianry button not togglebutton and that seem to have fixed it and the thinger and eq i jsut needed to delete the one file. still trying to get a drawer made to put the thinger and eq in.
