Winamp Media Player.

Hello,
I recently downloaded Wionamp 5.3 and just viewed videos with it. Now however I have lost the Media Player and have a very wide and narrow window on top and can add bookmarks etc. below it, I much prefered the Media Player window which is the same width as the others.Can you tell me how to get it back while removing this one called Winamp.

I am not too sure of what you are saying. However, I’ll have a go at it…

By Media Player window do you mean the main or player window (with the play, stop next track, volume controls)?
Ctrl+W to toggle WindowShade (AKA toolbar) mode
-or-
Alt+W to toggle the main/player window

To solve the problem I uninstalled and reinstalled.However I think my problem was I enlarged the window to better view the video and when I went back to Audio was left with this large main/player window.I would guess the way to correct the problem could be to go back to Video and reduce the window there,am I right?

go to: Prefs > Video

Change (check/uncheck) the options to taste, eg. look at:

close video window after playback ends
resize video window to fit video

yes/no/maybe?

the main/video window can be resized manually by dragging the edges (modern skin)
or by dragging the bottom right corner (classic skin)

If using Winamp Modern skin, the video window can also be closed manually by clicking the video/vis button in the top right corner, or it can be detached from the main window, etc etc...

I find the 5.3 version absolutely marvelous and use Winamp for everything,I also (because of this help available in the forums)recommned it to my friends.
