ok im behind a router, ports are forwarded and it says it connects to shoutcast ok - but then quickly disconnects me 3-5 seconds later and i cant seem to figure out why
------------------------------------------------- <07/17/04@11:24:05> [source] connected from 127.0.0.1 <07/17/04@11:24:05> [source] icy-name:event horizon ; icy-genre:misc <07/17/04@11:24:05> [source] icy-pub:1 ; icy-br:96 ; icy-url:www.umm.com <07/17/04@11:24:05> [source] icy-irc: ; icy-icq:0 ; icy-aim:N/A <07/17/04@11:24:06> [dest: 205.188.234.41] starting stream (UID: 1)[L: 1]{A: SHOUTcast Directory Tester}(P: 0) <07/17/04@11:24:17> [dest: 205.188.234.41] connection closed (0 seconds) (UID: 1)[L: 0]{Bytes: 57344}(P: 0) <07/17/04@11:24:20> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com added me successfully ------------------------------------------------- Also when i enter my ip (static - http://220.240.117.210:8000/) as shoutcast address i get a "cannot find server" error If i put my lan ip address (192.168.1.101) as shoutcast address http://192.168.1.101:8000 - i get the shoutcast page fine - obviously wouldt work for anyone outside my lan my radio toolbox port scanner gives: 220.240.117.210:8000 is Closed Reason Given: Connection refused ive forwarded ports, and opened and.. blah!! what else to do? it must be somewhere in the routing? - i cant view my own shoutcast page using external router ip? - my friend says the page opens but the listen link gives an error "invalid rescource" (confused) - thanks for help
