ned help with sound card setting!!!!!!

is there any way to know which sound card that i got? when i get my computer, i don't have the box for the sound card so i don't really know exactly which one it is.

1. Open up your computer (and I mean your computer case)
2. Locate soundcard
3. Search soundcard for serial / model number
4. Google Or Driverguide (if you need a driver)

if you don't know what is is, chances are you didn't pay for one when purchasing the computer.

you probably have an onboard soundchip so look at the motherboard books that came with your computer.

You probably have an AC97, a lot of OEM computers still come with it.

right click my computer - go to proprities - then go to hardware tab - then go to device manager - then go to (something close to this) audio video and game controls and it should be somewhere in there.

Double-click the speaker icon in the taskbar, then look at the name on the bottom left of the "volume control" window.
