Hi to all,

I want to put a username/password on my stream for subscribed listeners. I tried the scproxy PHP script but i don't get it to work (error 401 when i open it in browser and winamp - file is available for internet_user). I also tried the Ghetto method but nothing is happening.

I added this two lines to sc_serv.ini :

AuthFile=authfile.txt
AuthRealm=Shoutcast

I also made a file authfile.txt and added :

dixier:dixier

I use Shoutcast 1.9.4 (Win32)

When i connect to http://localhost:8000 the stream begins without authentication. I tried public and private server.

Any ideas?
